Days 1-5: Austria Trend Savoyen
Situated next to Belvedere Palace, the Austria Trend Hotel Savoyen Vienna features a 6-storey atrium, a modern spa and fitness centre, and Wi-Fi access. Full Itinerary
Day 1: UK - Vienna
Make your way to the airport for your flight to Vienna. On arrival transfer to your hotel, check in and enjoy a festive welcome drink with your fellow travellers. Dinner at the hotel this evening. Meals included: D
Day 2: Christmas Eve, Vienna
Following breakfast, start the day with a guided city tour of Vienna, by foot and by coach. In the afternoon, we head to Schönbrunn Palace where we will enjoy a guided tour through the palace, before taking in the beauty of the Christmas market located in front of the Palace. Tonight’s dinner will be at the hotel restaurant. Meals included: B,D
Day 3: Christmas Day, Vienna
Merry Christmas! Start your day with a leisurely breakfast before embarking on a tour of the oldest parts of Vienna. Join your Holiday Director walking through the narrow streets and be amazed by the history of this Imperial city. The afternoon is free to do as you choose. Enjoy dinner at the hotel this evening. Meals included: B,D
Day 4: Boxing Day, Melk Abbey
Today starts with a drive to the magnificent Melk Abbey for a guided tour. The Abbey is one of the biggest and most beautiful European Baroque ensembles where Benedict Monks have continually lived and worked since 1089. Heading back to Vienna, you will you stop in the wine district of the city. First, a short, guided tour of the region and then a stop at a local restaurant to enjoy wine tasting where you can taste Austrian Eiswein, known for its sweetness and special production. After the tasting, we continue with a typical Heurigen evening, with dinner accompanied by wine. Meals included: B,D
Day 5: Bratislava
After breakfast today, we embark on a full day excursion to Bratislava. The capital city of Slovakia is located along the Danube River, a guided city tour and entrance to the castle is included. Return to the hotel and finish the day with a farewell dinner at the hotel. Tonight, after dinner, you can choose to join the optional excursion of a classical concert at Kursalon Vienna, the perfect finish to an already excellent trip to Vienna. Meals included: B,D
Day 6: Vienna - UK
Your final breakfast this morning before we transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK. Meals included: B
