All about Sarah

I’ve been passionate about travelling all my life. I knew I wanted to work in the travel industry after taking an incredible expedition in Northern India, which inspired me to study Tourism at university. Travelling broadens my mind and creates valuable experiences that become core memories. The world is so varied and vibrant – I want to see it all, and I look forward to helping each of our customers to do the same.

I’m especially fond of Southeast Asia, having visited Malaysia multiple times. The melting pot of culture, climate and the diversity of experiences to be had in this part of the world is enchanting. A lifelong highlight of mine was celebrating a milestone birthday in the Thai Jungle at a luxury camp within the Khao Sok National Park. It was absolutely stunning: I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than waking up to the evocative sound of gibbons in the wild, then spending the day kayaking amongst the limestone cliffs. We saw a variety of beautiful wildlife and, of course, indulged in delicious Thai cuisine for dinner!

I love to visit National Parks around the world. From the jungles of Southeast Asia to the awesome Grand Canyon and the gorgeous blue waters of Plitvice National Park in Croatia, I love the chance to explore any inspiring natural landscape.

I’ve never taken for granted the fact that Europe is on our doorstep: I appreciate any opportunity for a city break! It’s a privilege to soak up the abundance of history, culture and architecture of the gorgeous cities of Europe have to offer. Paris, Porto, Bruges and Barcelona are just a handful of my favourites, and I look forward to exploring many more in the years to come.

I’ve had a wealth of experience in the travel industry and I’m excited to be part of the Trowbridge team. Creating tailor-made itineraries for customers is one of my favourite aspects of this career. I pride myself on my destination knowledge and would love to discuss those bucket-list ideas in order to create the perfect trip for you!
