All about Aleksandra
I became a member of the Miles Morgan Travel family in 2023. It was my first role in the travel industry, which has quickly turned into my passion. I’ve always been fascinated about travelling, experiencing different cultures and planning holidays for my friends and family, so I truly feel like it’s the perfect role for me.
European city breaks have quickly become my passion and area of expertise. Each has its own individual charm, rich with a fascinating history and unique culture, and with its own iconic attractions to tick off the bucket list! Some of my favourite memories include hiking up the steep streets of Lisbon to summit its infamous seven hills and biking alongside the Amstel River of Amsterdam with pitstops at its beautiful gardens. I’ve soaked up the cosmopolitan glamour of Paris, wandering around art galleries and visiting iconic monuments, and I’ve taken a relaxing river cruise along the Danube in Budapest. It’s the most wonderful way to travel; you never know what you might end up doing, discovering or trying! Every trip is a surprise.
While working for Miles Morgan Travel, I discovered my love for touring. I was very fortunate to explore Northern Thailand solo, all the way from Chiang Mai via jungle to Bangkok by train, boat and tuk-tuk! Having a guide who unlocks the heart of a culture is priceless — it turns sightseeing into soul-stirring experiences. I love nature and authenticity, so my highlight from this trip was a homestay in a tiny Thai village surrounded by rice fields and incredibly friendly people who taught me about their lifestyle, values and beliefs.
My, absolute favourite holiday, however, was my visit to Zimbabwe. The country is rich in natural beauty, wildlife, adventure and deep cultural roots. I stayed with the locals, so I was fortunate to see Zimbabwe from their perspective, completely off the beaten track. The safaris were incredible. There’s something deeply humbling about standing in the stillness of the wild, watching animals roam freely in their natural habitat. Group of zebras chasing each other in a playful dance, graceful giraffes stretching their long necks in slow elegance, powerful and ancient rhinos - watching them up close, you can’t help but feel a deep respect for these magnificent creatures.
Please come and visit our beautiful brand-new Trowbridge branch – I'd be delighted to meet you, share my experiences and help you plan your own unforgettable adventures.
