All about Molly
I began my career in the travel industry as an Apprentice with Miles Morgan this year in the Monmouth Branch, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made! The industry is incredibly dynamic and rewarding, and I find myself discovering something new every day. My passion for travel has been a lifelong journey, inspired by the stories my family shared about their own adventures. Growing up hearing about their experiences in different countries and cultures sparked my love for exploration, and it’s what ultimately led me to pursue a career in travel. I’m truly excited to learn about new destinations and, most importantly, help our customers experience travelling to those places themselves. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of their journey and share their excitement as they venture across the world. The idea of creating moments of discovery and joy for others is what truly motivates me. Here at Miles Morgan Travel, we believe in going above and beyond for our customers, a culture I can't wait to contribute to!
I’ve been very fortunate to have visited so many countries and cities, and so it's difficult to choose just one favourite. A highlight for me must be the six weeks I spent travelling around Italy after university. From touring the Colosseum in Rome, to hiking up Mount Vesuvius and exploring the ruins of Pompeii, to renting a boat off the coast of Capri, and even taking a pasta-making class in Naples, Italy has given me some truly special lifelong memories. Another highlight for me was spending my birthday at Lake Como. The breathtaking beauty of the lake was unlike anything I had ever experienced before, with its serene waters perfect for swimming, to the vibrant towns dotted all around the shores. Lake Como is not to be missed! The friendly locals combined with glorious sunshine and fantastic cuisine makes Italy a dream destination. I can’t wait to return and explore even more of everything this beautiful country has to offer.
When I was at school, I had the opportunity to visit Iceland - a destination like no other. It’s a country full of dramatic landscapes, from Geyser's to waterfalls to volcanoes and tectonic plates. We hiked up a glacier, learnt all about Icelandic folklore and we were lucky enough to experience the iconic Northern Lights. That is a memory I will never forget. The weather is constantly changing; we landed and found a white blanket of snow but woke up the next day to lush greens and earthy browns after the rain. If you only have a few days, I recommend exploring Reykjavik, relaxing in the Blue Lagoon or taking a trip out to Vik, with a stop off at Selfoss Waterfall along the way. For longer stays the Ring Road route is worthwhile as it allows you to really experience this fantastic country.
Next on my list to visit is either Canada or New Zealand. I am in awe of their landscapes and would love nothing more than to experience them for myself!
Whether it's booking my customers a beach break in their dream destination or tailor-making an unforgettable adventure, I am more than happy to help! Travelling is a gift I believe everyone should experience, so please call into the Monmouth Branch. I look forward to meeting you soon!
