I’ve just returned from a truly unforgettable 6-night trip to Mauritius with ITC, and what an incredible experience it was!
Our first stay was at the beautiful Shangri-La Le Touessrok, located on the stunning east coast of the island. This hotel is beautifully designed around a picturesque bay, creating a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing setting. Le Touessrok offers B&B, Half Board and Full Board options, with four restaurants to choose from, including Japanese and Indian cuisine both of which I was lucky enough to experience during my stay and I have to say the food was fabulous. Check out my picture with the resident tortoise!

One of the big highlights has to be the hotel’s very own private island, which is only accessible by boat, making it feel like a truly special escape! Also, in just a 15-minute walk you'll be in the heart of a local village. You’ll find a lovely selection of bars and restaurants which are perfect if you fancy exploring beyond the resort.
Our next stop was the stunning Constance Prince Maurice, an intimate luxury resort with just 92 rooms, including some spectacular overwater accommodation. The hotel offers everything from B&B through to All Inclusive, with three restaurants providing plenty of choice!! This hotel also has its own catamaran!! You can get out on the water and experience the beautiful coastline, definitely a recommendation from me.

Next was lunch at the iconic One&Only Le Saint Géran. Set on a private peninsula surrounded by turquoise waters, powder-soft beaches and lush tropical gardens, this legendary resort is the perfect blend of timeless elegance, exceptional service and laid-back island luxury. I had a beautiful experience here, from canapes to fresh fish, salad, lamb chops and so much more. What better way to finish the meal than with a shot of local rum! Would be rude not to! This resort features a few villas, each one has its own bikes, making it easy to explore the resort and its beautiful surroundings. This hotel also has its own glass-bottom boat, which is included as part of your stay!!
We then visited The St. Regis Le Morne Resort, which was truly outstanding and definitely a favourite of mine. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of UNESCO-listed Le Morne Brabant and one of Mauritius’ most beautiful beaches, this stunning resort really is the epitome of luxury. The sunsets on the west coast are simply spectacular and something not to be missed. With elegant all-suite accommodation, signature St. Regis Butler Service and an incredible oceanfront setting, every detail has been designed to create a luxurious and relaxing experience. As a surprise the hotel had put on champagne and music on the beach, I was lucky enough to wield a samurai sword and burst open the champagne! It's a miracle I didn't injure myself but what a great experience that was. Truely, no words.

Our final night was spent at The Oberoi Beach Resort, beautifully set along the pristine shores of Turtle Bay. This secluded resort is surrounded by more than 20 acres of lush subtropical gardens and 600 metres of beautiful white-sand beachfront. The whole resort has a wonderful jungle and tropical feel. We decided it had a Jumanji vibe, however, our host likened it to Indiana Jones! We dined at the On the Rocks restaurant for lunch. This was a stunning alfresco setting where we dined on a fabulous prawn salad. To finish our trip in style, we were fortunate enough to enjoy Champagne and canapés by the ocean, accompanied by a talented saxophone player and a breathtaking fire performance. What a magical experience!
