Lapa Luxury in Lisbon

Built in the 19th century for a noble Portuguese family, this is one of the city’s most luxurious and hotels. Located in the diplomatic quarter, Lapa, between the Bairro Alto and Belem districts, the palace is set in beautiful, landscaped gardens which slope past the large outdoor heated swimming pool, towards the River Tagus below. The gastronomic ‘Lapa’ restaurant serves classic Portuguese and Mediterranean dishes in elegant surroundings, while ‘Le Pavillon’ serves light dishes by the pool in summer and the ‘Tejo’ bar terrace is a wonderful place to relax with a drink overlooking the river. The 109 rooms, individually decorated in a variety of classic styles, are spread among the villa, garden wing and the main palace, which features paintings and sculptures by some of Lisbon’s most famous artists. The health spa specialises in massage treatments and offers an indoor pool, gym, sauna and Turkish bath.

Lapa Restaurant At the Lapa Restaurant you’ll find delicious Mediterranean dishes in an elegant setting with excellent service.
Restaurant-Bar Le Pavillon Located in the gardens of the Olissippo Lapa Palace near the Picina Exterior, and open during the summer months (from May to September), every day from 12 noon to 7p.m, it is the ideal place to enjoy the Lisbon sun.
Rio Tejo Bar Rio Tejo Bar is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail at sunset overlooking the river.
Room service We offer our Room Service, available 24 hours a day, so you can enjoy breakfast in the comfort of your room or indulge in a late craving for a light meal. Meal service is available from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Sports & Leisure

Outdoor swimming pool Our outdoor swimming pool, set in beautiful, peaceful gardens where you can admire the ornamental fountains and streams, is usually heated from May to September, to a temperature of 25º Celsius in summer.

Near the main pool, there is also a small pool for children.

From May to September, the pool has all its services open, including the Le Pavillón Restaurant-Bar, which offers you the chance to enjoy a light meal or a drink by the pool between 12:00 and 17:00.

Heated indoor pool* Our indoor pool offers a tranquil setting with natural light and is heated to a temperature of 28º Celsius all year round. It is located in the Spa, on the third floor of the Garden Wing, and is easily accessible from all rooms. It has a changing room and is open from 6:30 am to 10:00 pm.

Cardio Fitness Gym The fully equipped Cardiofitness Gym in the Spa offers the possibility of cardiovascular exercise.

Sauna and Turkish Bath The sauna is located near the indoor pool and is available between 8:00 and 18:30. We use aromatic oils and natural essences to intensify and revitalize your well-being.

Our Turkish bath, which is open between 8 a.m. and 6.30 p.m., is located in the changing rooms of the indoor pool. This is a unisex space. In the Turkish bath, we use natural eucalyptus essences, which are especially revitalizing.

Lapa Palace SPA The ancient art of massage induces relaxation, promotes healing and helps to recover and maintain optimum health through a combination of techniques, improving blood and lymph circulation. From 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. the Spa offers massages of the highest standard by our professional masseurs, as well as treatments to suit each client.

Its basic motto is: “created by Nature, driven by Science”, and in this spirit it has created a new generation of treatments, where it respects the active principles of the plants that are born in the heart of Mother Nature and keeps their synergy as intact and dynamic as possible to take advantage of the benefits of the oils and extracts.
