The Lanzarote Village Hotel has a prime position right next to Playa de Los Pocillos beach. It’s a whitewashed, low-rise complex with modern rooms centred around a stylish outdoor pool.

Walk left out of the hotel along the promenade and you’ll be at the shops and bars of Los Pocillos in about 10 minutes. Puerto del Carmen is about a half an hour’s walk in the other direction.

The curvy outdoor pool has a separate section for kids, which is heated in the winter. There’s also a poolside bar where you can order burgers, sandwiches and other snacks throughout the day.

Food & Drink

• Buffet restaurant – There's plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and you can watch your food being prepared at one of the live cooking stations. Please note that the restaurant closes at 9pm in the winter months.
• Pool bar – They serve drinks and ice-creams. Plus, snacks can be ordered up until 5.30pm.

• Lounge bar – This large, stylish bar is where most of the evening entertainment takes place.
