Day 2: St Helens

Next stop on your drive is St Helens, well known for its golden beaches and lovely scenery. Overlooking pretty Georges Bay, you can gaze out over chartered fishing boats, explore lush forests, uncover underwater caves and search for colourful sea life.

The next two days will be perfect for exploring the stunning Freycinet National Park. With spectacular walks, secluded beaches, wildlife spotting and a pass overlooking Wineglass Bay, it's easy to loose track of time here.

A gentle two hour walk will take you through the Freycinet National Park to the magnificent Wineglass Bay. You really have to see it to believe it. White powdered sands and brightly coloured granite peaks do leave you wondering how this beautiful natural environment could ever be surpassed!
